Odisha Tourism paid INR 23.96 crore as VGF

Tourism minister Jyoti Panigrahi informed the assembly that “the glamping festival was organised with the key objective of  development of ecology-based tourism and its publicity. The government did not intend to make it a business-oriented event. Panigrahi said. The amount received by the agencies under the viability gap funding include INR 13.22 crore for Konark, INR 2.75 crore (Hirakud), INR 2.72 crore (Satkosia), INR 2.20 crore (Bhitarkanika) and INR 3.07 crore (Daringbadi). Minister didn’t disclose name of the agencies.
