Hyatt Regency, Delhi Receives ISO 22000 : 2005 Certification

Hyatt Regency, New Delhi has been honoured with the ISO 22000:2005 certificate from SGS India Pvt. Ltd for complying with the highest level of food safety standards, regulatory and statutory requirements. ISO 22000:2005 is a management system designed to enable organizations to control food safety hazards along the food chain in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of consumption.



The whole safety management operation at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi was headed by the General Manager Mr. Aseem Kapoor, with the assistance of the food and safety team leader and Cluster Hygiene Manager - Mr. Swaran S. Johri, Executive Chef – Mr. Ivan Chieregatti, Director F&B – Mr. Rohit Srivastava and supported by the food safety team, individuals selected from kitchen, service, KST, purchase, engineering, HR & housekeeping amongst others.



Being the first hotel in Delhi to be certified with the ISO 22000:2005, this is a proud accomplishment for Hyatt Regency Delhi team, for consistently upholding uncompromising standards in food safety, assuring the guests with trust when visiting the restaurants, bars, banquets and outside catering.



Hyatt exemplifies food safety as an ongoing collaborative effort. They stringently practice the Food Safety Standards Act (2006) and Food Safety Standards Regulations (2011), as per Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). The quality and expectation of Hyatt Regency, New Delhi has always been in line with the Quality Assurance guidelines provided by Hyatt, which has ensured the best to its customers to date.
