The highly anticipated 2025 Taiwan Film Festival, which will highlight the inventiveness and cultural richness of Taiwan’s current film, will take place in New Delhi on December 12–13, 2025, at PVR Priya film, Vasant Vihar. The festival, which is organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India (TECC), seeks to improve Taiwan-India cultural relations and cinematic cooperation.
The unique showing of Demon Hunters, the first feature film co-produced by Taiwan and India, is one of the festival’s highlights this year. The film represents a turning point in the developing collaboration between the two countries’ film industries by fusing Bollywood dance scenes with Taiwanese tradition.

A Chip Odyssey, a documentary that highlights Taiwan’s crucial position in the global technological ecosystem and examines the innovative path of TSMC, the top semiconductor manufacturer in the world, will also be screened at the festival. Hunter Brothers, a compelling drama with an Indigenous theme, explores the emotional range of Taiwan’s Indigenous groups and their harmony between tradition and modernity.
Following a welcome ceremony, the two-day program will feature film screenings and post-screening conversations with Taiwanese and Indian filmmakers and cultural figures. The occasion is intended to serve as a forum for intercultural communication, the sharing of stories, and potential future partnerships between the creative sectors of both countries.

The Taiwan Film Festival in India continues to serve as a cultural bridge, offering audiences a window into Taiwan’s diverse cinematic narratives while celebrating the growing synergy between Taiwanese and Indian cinema.
