Goa Tourism reinforced its commitment to sustainable and regenerative tourism at OTM 2025, emphasizing environmental conservation, cultural preservation, and community engagement. The final day of the event highlighted Goa’s efforts to balance tourism growth while protecting its natural beauty and heritage.
Showcasing itself as a premier global travel destination, Goa Tourism promoted Regenerative Tourism, a model that ensures responsible travel benefits both local communities and the environment. Key initiatives included eco-friendly tourism projects, community-based tourism, and cultural heritage preservation, positioning Goa as a leader in sustainable travel experiences.
A major highlight was the promotion of the Ekadasha Teertha circuit, an ensemble of 11 historic temples offering spiritual and cultural immersion for visitors. Beyond its renowned beaches, Goa presented its vibrant festivals, diverse local cuisine, and initiatives for sustainable beach tourism, ensuring a holistic and authentic experience for travelers.

The event concluded on a high note with Goa Tourism winning the prestigious Best Decoration Award, presented by Mr. Gazanfar Ibrahim, Managing Director, Fairfest Media Limited. The award, received by Goa Tourism delegates, reaffirmed the state’s commitment to innovative tourism promotion and immersive visitor experiences.
