These strategic appointments follow the 2024 appointment of CEO Victor Clavell and mark a new phase of expansion and innovation for URC’s luxury hotel portfolio across Asia.
Nicholas Liang joins as Vice President of Operations, bringing over 22 years of experience from Mandarin Oriental, The Ritz-Carlton, Rosewood, and Four Seasons. He will oversee URC’s operational excellence, ensuring seamless guest experiences. Michael Faulkner, appointed Vice President of Brand and Commercial, will leverage his expertise from Swire Hotels, Park Hyatt, and Crown Resorts to enhance URC’s global market presence and strategic partnerships. Andreas Zimmermann takes on the role of Vice President of Development, bringing his background in luxury hospitality project management from Rosewood Hotel Group and Four Seasons to spearhead URC’s expansion efforts. Jessie Lai, with over 11 years at Marriott International, steps in as Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO, ensuring efficient execution of URC’s strategic initiatives.
CEO Victor Clavell emphasized that this leadership team will play a crucial role in strengthening URC’s global footprint, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering authentic, culturally immersive guest experiences.
