Vietjet Expands Fleet and Launches New Japan, China Routes; Offers India-Vietnam Fares from INR11

Vietjet, Vietnam’s leading new-age airline, has strengthened its Asia-Pacific network with the arrival of a new Airbus A321neo ACF and the launch of direct routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya and Fukuoka in Japan. The expansion aligns with the airline’s 2025 growth strategy and offers Indian travelers enhanced connectivity to both Southeast and Northeast Asia.

To mark the occasion, Vietjet is offering special Eco-class promotional fares starting from INR11 (plus taxes and fees) for flights from India to Vietnam.

The newly delivered aircraft landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on April 25, 2025, becoming the third addition to Vietjet’s modern fleet this year. The airline will continue to grow its fleet with further deliveries from Airbus and Boeing in 2025, reinforcing its position as one of the most modern carriers in the region.

This latest network expansion includes recent direct services from Hyderabad and Bengaluru to Ho Chi Minh City, along with new Vietnam-China routes connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with Beijing and Guangzhou. Vietjet now operates 10 direct routes between India and Vietnam, totaling 78 weekly flights, making it the largest operator between the two countries. Destinations include New Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang.

Vietjet’s continued investments in fleet expansion and international connectivity are designed to enhance travel convenience and promote cultural and economic exchange throughout Asia-Pacific, cementing its role as a key player in regional aviation.
