The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently hosted over 2,500 delegates from Infinitus (China) in a landmark Group Incentive Travel program, reinforcing Thailand’s position as a top MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination in Asia. Held from May 12 to 19, 2025, the initiative featured three distinct travel routes—Phuket to Bangkok, Chiang Mai to Bangkok, and Pattaya to Rayong—offering delegates diverse experiences before converging in Bangkok for a grand seminar and gala at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
The May 17 gala, officiated by TAT Deputy Governor Mr. Kittipong Prapattong, showcased traditional Thai performances and a special welcome video, celebrating a decade-long partnership with Infinitus. A VIP reception at Suvarnabhumi Airport on May 13, led by TAT Regional Director Mr. Chuwit Sirivejkul, further exemplified Thailand’s commitment to hosting high-value corporate visitors with seamless hospitality.
This high-profile visit marks a key achievement in TAT’s strategy to attract quality Chinese tourism through large-scale incentive travel, building on the success of a similar event in 2024 that drew over 3,000 delegates. With world-class facilities, diverse destinations, and a growing emphasis on sustainability and digital innovation, Thailand continues to lead in the global MICE market, with more major Chinese corporate groups expected in 2025.
