
The Karnataka Tourism Forum (KTF), a prominent association representing the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors in the state, has announced its newly appointed office bearers for the 2025–27 term. The new leadership team is set to drive collaborative growth, sustainable tourism, and increased global visibility for Karnataka as a year-round tourist destination.
Mr. Patrick George of Prakruthi Holidays has been elected President of KTF. Expressing his commitment, he stated his vision to work closely with industry stakeholders and government bodies to promote Karnataka’s diverse tourism offerings—ranging from heritage and nature to wellness and adventure. Supporting this mission, Mr. Vaibhav D Kamat of Kamat Eco-Tours & Jungle Holidays has been appointed Vice President. He emphasized the importance of inclusive tourism, fostering partnerships, and highlighting lesser-known destinations across the state.
Other key appointments include Mr. Ganesh Basavaraj (Rainforest Retreats Pvt. Ltd.) as Secretary, Ms. Vinutha Kiran (Travel Lounge Inc) as Joint Secretary, and Mr. Vinay KN (Cruise and Travel Pvt. Ltd.) as Treasurer. Core committee members comprise Mr. SN Krishna Chidambara, Mr. Prashanth BS, Mr. Arvind, Mr. Prashanth Shenoy, Mr. Dinesh SD, Mr. Sudhir KR, and Mr. Ramesh Chandran.
KTF has played a significant role in organizing tourism trade events, stakeholder dialogues, and training workshops. Under its new leadership, the Forum aims to strengthen its initiatives by developing thematic tourism circuits, encouraging responsible travel, and enhancing community engagement. KTF plans to work closely with Karnataka Tourism and allied bodies to create new opportunities and foster a vibrant and sustainable tourism ecosystem in the state.
