Major hospitality upgrades are underway, including the $160 million transformation of Harveys Lake Tahoe into Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, officially rebranding on July 1. Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe has also unveiled fully renovated rooms and will debut the upscale Mastro’s Steakhouse and the revitalized H2O pool scene. Meanwhile, Harrah’s Lake Tahoe has refreshed its Summit Suites and opened Brew Brothers, adding a lively craft beer and dining venue.
Boutique lodging continues to shine with Black Bear Lodge, which has evolved into a rustic-chic, sustainable retreat featuring locally sourced decor and eco-conscious touches.
Adventure seekers can look forward to a lineup of new and returning outdoor experiences. The historic Tahoe Star Cruise to Thunderbird Lodge offers a luxurious four-hour journey with lakeside storytelling, while Tahoe Paradise’s Sunset Wine Tasting Cruise departs from Zephyr Cove with stunning views and local wine pairings. Off-road thrills await with guided ATV tours on the Rubicon Trail, starting with a boat ride drop-off, and Clearly Tahoe’s e-bike tours explore forest trails and lakeside beaches.
For high-flying fun, Heavenly Mountain Resort launches its summer adventure park on May 23, including zip lines, a mountain coaster, climbing wall, and yoga atop the gondola-accessible peak.
