TAT and Grab Thailand Launch “Explore Thailand, Enjoy More” Campaign to Boost Domestic and International Tourism

In a strategic move to revive travel interest across Thailand, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Grab Thailand have jointly launched a nationwide campaign titled “Tiew Tua Thai Suk Kan Yai Wai Jai Grab” or “Explore Thailand, Enjoy More, Trust Grab.” This campaign aims to attract both Thai and international tourists to discover the country’s renowned landmarks and hidden gems, all while celebrating its rich culture, nature, and local charm with ease through Grab’s digital platform.

Under the broader Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025 initiative, TAT Deputy Governor for the Domestic Market, Apichai Chatchalermkit, highlighted the focus on encouraging year-round travel and showcasing 55 must-visit provinces. “We’re inviting people to discover their own ‘Grand Moments’ through local stories and new perspectives. Our partnership with Grab strengthens traveller confidence and enhances the sustainable, appealing image of Thai tourism,” he noted.

A key highlight of the campaign is the involvement of Thai celebrities Ling Ling (Sirilak Khong) and Aom (Kornnaphat Settharattanapong), who have joined as “Friends of Grab.” Their star power has significantly boosted the campaign’s reach, generating over 2.3 million engagements and more than a million reposts on social media platform X within just 24 hours. Their popularity, particularly among pan-Asian audiences, is expected to increase tourist interest from regional markets like China.

Grab Thailand’s Country Head, Chantsuda Thananitayaudom, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to tourism recovery: “As a TAT partner and member of the Tourism Taskforce, Grab continues to innovate services that connect major cities with lesser-known destinations. This campaign reflects our mission to make travel seamless and more enjoyable for all.”

Adding to the excitement, travellers can participate in the “Pai Mueang Na Tiew Suk Kan Yai Wai Jai Grab” (Visit Hidden Cities, Enjoy More, Trust Grab) promotion. Tourists using Grab services in any of the 55 participating provinces can win exclusive experiences with Ling and Aom. Promo codes allow users to tailor their trips ‘NATURE’ for Ling’s scenic escapes or ‘CITY’ for Aom’s urban adventures—with no minimum spend required. This offer runs until August 12.

In addition, TAT and Grab are offering up to ฿100 off on eligible services including transport, food, and parcel delivery, using the promo code “AMAZING25.” This discount is valid until December 31, 2025, making travel within Thailand more accessible and affordable.
