
Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) is intensifying its destination marketing in India with the launch of its newest campaign, “Waves of Wonder,” highlighting Taiwan as a premier golf tourism hotspot. After a highly successful post-pandemic debut and strong growth in Indian visitor arrivals registering a 20.81% surge last year TTA is strategically expanding its reach, this time focusing on East India with a dedicated road show in Kolkata.
With more than 70 world-class golf courses, including the historic Ta Shee Golf & Country Club, Taiwan Golf & Country Club, and Miramar Golf & Country Club, Taiwan is positioning itself as an attractive destination for India’s luxury, HNI, and corporate travelers. The campaign aims to offer tailored golf packages that integrate golf experiences with luxury resorts, hot spring and wellness retreats, fine dining, and high-end shopping, catering specifically to discerning Indian golfers and corporate groups seeking unique incentive trips.
TTA’s widening outreach includes forging partnerships with travel agencies, OTAs, and industry stakeholders in East India, building on previous successes in North, South, and West India. Special promotional offers, including cash incentives and discounts, are being provided to make travel even more appealing for Indian visitors.
Through its “Waves of Wonder” initiative, Taiwan Tourism Administration is set to sustain its growth momentum across India, diversify its visitor base, and solidify Taiwan’s status as an emerging golf and luxury destination for the Indian market.
