IHG to Launch Holiday Inn Siliguri, Strengthening Hospitality Offerings in North-East India

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement with Four Vedas Hotels & Resorts Private Limited to open Holiday Inn Siliguri, marking a strategic expansion of the global brand into one of India’s most dynamic secondary markets. Slated to open in 2027 at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas, the new hotel will be centrally located in Siliguri a key gateway for North-East India and a bustling commercial hub linked to Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan.

The upcoming Holiday Inn Siliguri will showcase the brand’s next-generation Open Lobby concept, offering guests a versatile social environment to dine, work, or relax, in line with the evolving needs of modern travelers. With 111 well-appointed rooms, three distinctive dining options, two flexible meeting spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness center, the hotel is designed to cater to corporate groups, MICE events, and leisure tourists drawn to the region’s natural beauty and growing business activities.

Sudeep Jain, Managing Director for IHG Hotels & Resorts in South West Asia, highlighted the city’s strategic significance as a transport and trade corridor, noting the surging demand for international-branded accommodations. The leadership of Four Vedas Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd expressed confidence that the collaboration would set new benchmarks for hospitality in Siliguri, leveraging IHG’s global expertise to deliver world-class guest experiences.

With over 1,200 Holiday Inn hotels worldwide, the brand’s entry into Siliguri further consolidates IHG’s commitment to expanding its mainstream footprint across India’s high-growth cities, offering elevated hospitality tailored to both business and leisure travelers.
