Union Environment Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav today inaugurated Rajasthan’s first ‘Namo Biodiversity Park’ at Pratap Bandh, Alwar, in a symbolic tree plantation ceremony attended by state Cabinet Minister Shri Sanjay Sharma.
Named ‘NAMO VAN’, the park is envisioned as a vital green lung for the region, aiming to enhance local greenery, improve air quality, and foster environmental awareness among citizens. In a social media post, Shri Yadav highlighted that the initiative encourages sustainable lifestyles and active public participation in conservation efforts, marking a key step in Rajasthan’s biodiversity and climate action agenda.
Beyond its ecological impact, the park is designed to inspire communities to adopt environment-friendly habits, reinforcing India’s broader commitment to green infrastructure and environmental stewardship.
