GRT Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Vijaya Kumar as the new General Manager of Grand Chennai, the group’s flagship property. Bringing over three decades of hospitality experience, Kumar is known for his expertise in operations, culinary innovation, and sustainable hotel management.
Having been with GRT Hotels & Resorts for 17 years, Kumar has played a pivotal role in enhancing F&B operations across multiple properties and driving elevated guest experiences. His achievements include the IFCA Smart Chef Award and the Green Hotelier of the Year accolade. He also serves as a certified judge for national and international culinary competitions, reflecting his commitment to excellence in hospitality.
