Hyatt to Debut First Andaz Hotel in Hong Kong by 2027

yatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to open Andaz Hong Kong Central in 2027, marking the debut of the Andaz brand in the city. The hotel will be part of Central Crossing, a landmark mixed-use development at 118 Wellington Street, featuring premium offices, green spaces, and preserved heritage architecture.

With 125 guestrooms and suites, Andaz Hong Kong Central will celebrate the city’s cultural duality—heritage and modernity, East and West—through distinctive design and locally inspired experiences. The property will also introduce the world’s first Andaz Village, a bespoke lifestyle and retail hub curating wellness and gourmet experiences.

“We are honored to be part of this landmark project,” said David Udell, Group President, Asia Pacific, Hyatt. “The growth of Andaz reflects our focus on expanding in key global destinations.”

The hotel will be led by Hervé Mazella, Area VP of Luxury, Hyatt Asia Pacific, who will also serve as General Manager. Positioned in the heart of Central’s cultural corridor, Andaz Hong Kong Central aims to become a vibrant hub where luxury meets local culture.
