The Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, is set to conduct a roadshow in Bahrain on 23 November 2025, strengthening its outreach in the Gulf region. The initiative is designed to build stronger trade connections, promote year-round travel, and highlight Goa’s refreshed tourism vision to Bahrain’s travel community.
Tourism Minister Shri Rohan A. Khaunte said the Gulf market continues to offer tremendous growth potential for Goa. He noted that the upcoming roadshow will present a more evolved narrative of the State — one that blends cultural depth with contemporary travel experiences. Under the ‘Feels Like Goa’ campaign and new tourism concepts like Nocto Tourism, Jet-Setting, and CalmCation, the State aims to appeal to both adventure seekers and travellers looking for wellness and tranquillity.
Tourism Director Shri Kedar Naik added that engaging with Bahrain’s travel trade will help expand Goa’s visibility across the Gulf. He highlighted that travellers from the region value authenticity and high-quality experiences — areas in which Goa is steadily strengthening its offerings through its updated strategies.
During the roadshow, delegates will be introduced to the Feels Like Goa initiative, a campaign designed to showcase the State’s richness in culture, nature, spirituality, cuisine, and immersive local experiences. The engagement will also highlight Goa’s commitment to regenerative and responsible tourism.
Three global travel trends integrated into Goa’s tourism blueprint will be featured:
Nocto Tourism: Presenting Goa’s structured nightlife ecosystem with improved safety, cultural entertainment zones, and live music experiences.
Jet-Setting: Showcasing Goa’s cinematic legacy and its rising popularity as a filming hub for global OTT platforms and international productions — positioning the State as a key player in film tourism.
CalmCation: Highlighting wellness retreats, nature-based escapes, yoga and Ayurveda offerings, and peaceful hinterland experiences crafted for restorative travel.
Goa Tourism expects the Bahrain roadshow to pave the way for long-term partnerships and further establish Goa as a preferred leisure destination among Gulf travellers.
