Goa Tourism will participate in the Qatar Travel & Tourism Expo 2025 from 24–26
November, presenting the State’s updated tourism positioning and its focus on
sustainable, experience-driven growth.
Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said Goa is redefining its identity by blending
responsible development with premium visitor experiences. He noted that the expo
will help the State highlight its offerings—ranging from wellness and nature escapes
to cinematic tourism and nightlife—in key international markets.
Tourism Director Kedar Naik emphasised that the platform will support Goa in
building global partnerships, showcasing upgraded infrastructure, and promoting new-
age travel experiences rooted in authenticity and quality.
Goa’s showcase will spotlight emerging tourism trends including:
Nocto Tourism: curated, safe nightlife spaces celebrating music, culture and
local cuisine.
Jet Setting: the rising influence of film, OTT and international shoots in
boosting destination visibility.
Calmcations: Goa’s strength in wellness retreats, Ayurveda, nature-based
escapes and serene travel experiences.
The delegation will also present ongoing improvements in digital tourism services,
heritage precinct development, water-based and adventure tourism, hinterland circuits,
and community-led initiatives—reflecting Goa’s commitment to regenerative
tourism that benefits local communities while preserving natural and cultural assets.
Goa Tourism’s presence at the Expo aims to deepen global outreach and position the
State as a destination that combines sustainability, innovation and cultural vibrancy.
