During the Meet Global MICE Congress (MGMC) 2025, one of the notable keynote sessions was delivered by Dharmendra Jain, Founder and CEO of Actnable AI, who brings over two decades of market research and data-driven strategy experience across India and Africa. His address focused on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in supporting the planning and execution of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) events.
In his keynote, Jain highlighted how AI can assist organisers by analysing large volumes of participant data, identifying behavioural patterns, and helping design more relevant and personalised event experiences. He underlined that intelligent tools can offer valuable insights for content curation, audience segmentation and agenda planning, particularly for large-scale international events.
Sharing his perspective during the session, Jain said,
“AI has the potential to support organisers by analysing data, personalising content and anticipating trends, while human judgement and experience remain central to MICE planning.”
He emphasised that AI should be viewed as an enabling layer rather than a replacement for human decision-making. According to Jain, while technology can forecast trends and optimise processes, the success of MICE events continues to depend on creativity, relationships and contextual understanding — areas where human expertise remains irreplaceable.
The session resonated with delegates as it reflected a growing industry shift towards integrating data intelligence into event strategy, without losing sight of the human element that defines impactful business gatherings. Jain’s insights added depth to broader discussions at MGMC 2025 around innovation, efficiency and future readiness within the global MICE ecosystem.
