Marriott Expands Lifestyle Footprint in Goa with Renaissance Goa Opening

Renaissance Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio, has expanded its India footprint with the opening of Renaissance Goa Hotel in North Goa’s Arpora valley. The 133-key property strengthens Marriott International’s leisure and lifestyle presence in one of India’s most active tourism markets.

Strategically located with easy access to Baga, Anjuna and Vagator beaches, the hotel targets experiential and lifestyle-led travellers while offering proximity to North Goa’s established tourism circuits. The launch aligns with Marriott’s broader strategy to deepen its leisure portfolio in high-demand destinations across India.

Commenting on the opening, Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President – South Asia, Marriott International, said Goa continues to remain a priority market for the company’s leisure growth plans, driven by consistent domestic demand and evolving traveller preferences for neighbourhood-led and experience-focused stays.

The new hotel features 133 rooms and suites, multiple dining outlets, rooftop pool bar, and nearly 8,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space, positioning it for destination weddings, social events and corporate offsites. This addition also supports Goa’s growing MICE and wedding tourism segment, particularly in North Goa.

A key brand differentiator at Renaissance properties is the Navigator programme, which connects guests with curated local experiences. At Renaissance Goa, this includes neighbourhood walks, cultural interactions, and regional food and beverage trails designed to promote deeper destination engagement.

The opening of Renaissance Goa comes at a time when branded hotel expansion in Goa is witnessing renewed momentum, supported by sustained tourist inflow, improved connectivity and rising demand for premium lifestyle accommodation.

Renaissance Hotels is part of Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s loyalty programme, allowing members to earn and redeem points across its global portfolio.
