Agoda, the global digital travel platform, has partnered with Mastercard to integrate its worldwide travel inventory into Mastercard’s Global Redemption Suite, enabling banks to offer instant, flexible travel rewards through their loyalty programmes.
Under the partnership, banks connected to Mastercard’s ecosystem can embed Agoda’s travel redemption solution directly into their existing loyalty platforms. This allows cardholders to redeem reward points in real time for flights and accommodation, delivering a seamless, branded travel booking experience without the need for banks to build complex systems.
The integration enables banks to modernise loyalty offerings by providing scalable, experience-led rewards, addressing a long-standing challenge in the loyalty space where points often remain unused due to limited redemption options.
For cardholders, the solution offers instant redemption, broader choice across Agoda’s global travel inventory, and a digital-first, personalised experience aligned with evolving consumer expectations.
Commenting on the collaboration, Damien Pfirsch, Chief Commercial Officer, Agoda, said the partnership aims to help banks deliver travel rewards that are immediate and genuinely useful. Matthew Driver, Executive Vice President, Services, Asia Pacific, Mastercard, said the integration transforms loyalty into a more connected and personalised ecosystem.
The collaboration reflects a broader industry shift toward travel-driven loyalty programmes, positioning travel experiences as a key differentiator for banks seeking to enhance customer engagement and value.
