China Visa Services in New Delhi has informed applicants and travel trade partners that visa processing timelines are likely to be impacted due to the upcoming Chinese Spring Festival holidays.
The visa application centre will observe holidays from 14 February to 23 February 2026, during which routine visa submission and processing may experience delays. Normal operations are scheduled to resume on Tuesday, 24 February 2026.
Applicants planning travel to China during this period are advised to factor in possible delays and submit their visa applications well in advance. Travel agents and tour operators are also encouraged to guide their clients accordingly to ensure smooth travel planning and avoid last-minute inconvenience.
