GTDC Hosts Travel Agents Meet 2026 to Strengthen Trade Partnerships

Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC)* organised its Travel Agents Meet 2026 on February 15, bringing together 55 travel agents, OTAs and NTS operators to strengthen collaboration and align strategies for promoting Goa as a diversified, experience-led destination.

Addressing the gathering, Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte emphasised the importance of travel trade partnerships in driving quality and balanced tourism growth beyond beaches. GTDC Chairman Kedar J. Naik highlighted the critical role of travel agents in shaping destination perception, while Managing Director Kuldeep Arolkar said the platform would help align tourism products with evolving market expectations.

Seven tour operators, including representatives from the Tour Operators Association of India, were felicitated for their contribution to promoting Goa. GTDC also showcased its hotels, new tourism services and adventure offerings.

The meet focused on enhancing Goa’s global visibility through stronger trade partnerships and collaborative promotion initiatives.
