With an impressive background in engineering and hospitality management, Paul will oversee the hotel’s engineering department, driving innovations and maintaining the highest standards of facility excellence.
He brings over two decades of extensive experience in the hospitality engineering sector. With a proven track record in operational excellence and sustainable initiatives, Paul is set to spearhead the engineering team.
Paul’s expertise and dedication to the field have earned him numerous accolades, including the Accor Excellence Award in Sustainable Development and the Accor South Asia Award for Engineering Person of the Year 2021. His appointment marks a significant step towards further strengthening the engineering capabilities at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & HICC.
Rubin Cherian, General Manager of Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are delighted to have John join our team. Paul said, “I am thrilled to join the team at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & Hyderabad International Convention Centre. My goal is to enhance the property’s engineering operations while continuing to focus on sustainability and energy conservation.”
Paul is originally from Tamil Nadu and has held several significant positions within Accor Hotels. He was instrumental in implementing energy conservation measures that significantly reduced the carbon footprint per available room during his tenure.
