Another piece of good news has arrived for Agra. Following the launch of the Vande Bharat Express from Udaipur to Agra recently, the city of Taj Mahal is soon set to receive another new Vande Bharat Express. This train service will soon begin between Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and Agra Cantt. The train will have 12 coaches and will cover the 573 km distance in 7 hours. It will depart from Varanasi in the afternoon and reach Agra Cantt at night. From Agra, the train will depart at 6 AM and reach Varanasi by 1 PM.
The new Vande Bharat Express running between Agra Cantt and Varanasi will have stops at Tundla Station, Etawah, Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Varanasi. The train will run at an average speed of approximately 82 km per hour.
