PATA and OAG renew strategic partnership to enhance data-driven insights for Asia-Pacific travel

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) has reaffirmed its partnership with OAG, solidifying OAG as the Association’s Preferred Partner and exclusive aviation data provider for the next three years. The renewed collaboration aims to strengthen the travel and tourism sector in the Asia-Pacific region by equipping PATA members with vital aviation data.

PATA CEO Noor Ahmad Hamid expressed the importance of the extended partnership, stating, “I am delighted to announce the expansion of PATA’s strategic collaboration with OAG to a three-year partnership, underscoring a long-term commitment between our organisations. This extended collaboration will greatly benefit PATA members, providing them with essential aviation data to monitor flight capacity and identify emerging trends shaping the tourism industry. With OAG’s world-class aviation data, our members are well-equipped to make informed decisions in a rapidly evolving landscape.”

As part of the renewed agreement, PATA members will continue to have access to OAG’s cutting-edge platform, the Schedules Analyser. This tool, integrated into PATA’s PATAmPOWER platform, provides comprehensive airline schedules and seating data, offering insights into flight frequency and capacity. These analytics will help tourism stakeholders refine marketing strategies, optimise destination management, and enhance visitor experiences across the region.

Mayur Patel, OAG’s Head of Asia, highlighted the broader impact of the partnership. “We are excited to announce this strategic data partnership between OAG and the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). This collaboration marks a significant step forward in advancing data-driven insights for travel and tourism in Asia-Pacific. By combining OAG data and expertise with PATA’s in-depth regional knowledge, the partnership will empower stakeholders with actionable intelligence that will foster innovation and growth in the travel and tourism sectors,” Patel said.
