Heavens Portfolio, a prominent player in luxury travel representation, has announced the opening of its 18th office in Melbourne, marking its official expansion into the Australian and New Zealand markets. This strategic move comes in response to a surge in luxury outbound travel from Australia and New Zealand, as more travelers seek exclusive, high-end travel experiences worldwide.
The new office will be led by industry expert Chrissie Lincoln, who brings over two decades of global sales experience from her time with Swire Hotels and Aman. In her role as Managing Director of Heavens Portfolio Australia/New Zealand, Lincoln will oversee a team representing a prestigious global portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts. “With my two decades of global sales experience at Swire Hotels and Aman, this is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate closely with our partners and clients to enhance awareness and drive sales in the ever-growing Australian and New Zealand market,” she remarked.
Lincoln, who officially steps down from Swire Hotels at the end of 2024, will continue to represent Swire Hotels within her new role at Heavens Portfolio. Dean Winter, Managing Director of Swire Hotels, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are honoured to be among Chrissie’s first clients as she embarks on this new venture with Heavens Portfolio Australia and remains a key member of the Swire Hotels family.”
Christine Galle-Luczak, CEO of Heavens Portfolio, emphasized the significance of this expansion: “Australia represents a significant milestone and a great opportunity for Heavens Portfolio. We are delighted to have Chrissie alongside us to start this chapter of our journey. Her extensive experience and passion for luxury travel make her the ideal leader for our Australian operations. Chrissie was instrumental in raising THE HOUSE COLLECTIVE name, and we are confident that under her guidance, our new operations will thrive.”
