Turkish Airlines is adding a cinematic touch to its in-flight entertainment with a new selection of popular Bollywood films. Catering to the tastes of Indian travelers and global audiences, the airline now offers a wide array of Indian movies on its flights, providing an immersive cultural experience at 35,000 feet.
Passengers can enjoy a curated collection of Bollywood blockbusters while indulging in treats from the airline’s exclusive Business Class ‘movie bar,’ featuring popcorn, dried figs, Turkish Delight, chocolates, mixed nuts, and more.
“We’re thrilled to bring Indian cinema to the skies,” said Umit Develi, Turkish Airlines VP for Asia & Far East. “This initiative allows us to cater to our Indian passengers while introducing the vibrant world of Bollywood to a global audience.”
In addition to Bollywood offerings, Turkish Airlines’ award-winning in-flight entertainment system, Planet, features over 700 movies, 1,500+ TV shows, 130 audiobooks, podcasts, and access to 2,000 music albums. Passengers also enjoy complimentary access to international newspapers and magazines via the PressReader app.
For added convenience, the airline has rolled out free internet access to all its Miles&Smiles loyalty program members, with plans for full, fast, and uninterrupted connectivity across its fleet by 2027.
