Turkey opens its borders for vaccinated Indians, Singapore to follow suit

Indian nationals traveling to Turkey will no longer be required to undergo the erstwhile mandatory quarantine if they are fully vaccinated with either Covishield or Covaxin.

According to a communication from the Turkish embassy on updated quarantine arrangements for travellers from India and Nepal, passengers will have to submit a negative PCR test taken up to 72 hours before arrival.

The Govt of Singapore also announced that starting from November 29 it will allow quarantine-free entry of fully-vaccinated travellers from India under its Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTLs) programme.
