Hotelzify, a self-serve website development and booking management platform for budget hotels, vacation rentals and villas is also keen to connect these independent properties with the travel agent community.

Anirudh Ganesh, Co-Founder and CEO of Hotelzify while speaking to TWO in an exclusive interview said, “We want to connect with travel agents as we want the hotels, we work with to be seen by more people. The hotels who decide to engage with travel agents can decide if they want to offer additional discounts to them.”

At present about 750 hotels have created their website using the technology platform provided by Hotelzify. The company has also recently added a new feature that allows independent hotels to showcase the immersive experiences that they offer to their clients.

“Some of the hotels may be offering trekking experiences, guided tours, or safari camps. Now on our website, these hotels can promote such immersive experiences. We will also soon introduce a feature that will allow our partner hotels to share videos of immersive experiences with prospective clients,” added Ganesh.

Hotelzify has given small hotels an opportunity to create their own brands while also enhancing their revenues using technology.

"Before I started Hotelzify, I travelled across the country to destinations like Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Rajasthan, and North East India to name a few. And during that time what I understood was that every small hotelier or vacation rental owner had a problem with regards to building their brand. They have understood the importance of technology platforms like Instagram but still struggle with when it comes to what content to create and how should people book their hotel,” said Ganesh.

Considering that small hoteliers prefer a commission-based model of revenue sharing instead of paying for a technology service on a monthly basis, Hotelzify works on a commission basis.

“We are confident about our product strength so a commission-based system works perfectly for us,” said Ganesh.
