 Madhya Pradesh Tourism showcases its offerings in Hyderabad

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board's recent roadshow in Hyderabad, aimed at showcasing the state's incredible tourism offerings and fostering collaboration between key industry stakeholders, concluded on a high note. The event, which took place on 8th September 2023 at the Marriott Convention Centre witnessed enthusiastic participation from Madhya Pradesh's tourism sector and Hyderabad's local stakeholders, resulting in promising partnerships and greater prospects for tourism in the "Heart of Incredible India."



Madhya Pradesh, often referred as the "Heart of Incredible India" is also the ‘Tiger State of India’ with 785 tigers and boasts a remarkable blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. MP is also emerging as a state of spiritual tourism by the overwhelming numbers at the Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, Raja Ram Temple in Orchha which is set to be developed as the Raja Ram Lok, Devi Lok is set to be developed in Salkanpur and the tallest statue of Adi Shankracharya in India (108 ft.) is scheduled to be inaugurated by the honorary Prime Minister in Omkareshwar on 18th September 2023.   



The state is also home to 3 UNESCO world heritage sites including Khajuraho, Sanchi and Bhimbetka and Tentative World Heritage sites like Gwalior, Orchha, Satpura Tiger Reserve and Bhedaghat, enchanting Tiger reserves and National Parks, architectural marvels and breath-taking annual festivals like Gandhi Sagar Festival, Jalmahotsav at Hanuwantiya and Mandu Festival this state has something for every traveller.



This year, MP is set to touch new heights with the introduction of two new festivals in October and November 2023: The Chanderi Festival starting from 5th October 2023 (a blend of handloom, culture and adventure) and The Kuno Forest Festival (wildlife and adventure mega festival on the land of Cheetah after 72 years). The roadshow in Hyderabad was designed to bring the best of Madhya Pradesh's tourism offerings to the residents of this vibrant city.



One of the most significant aspects of this event was the participation of the key stakeholders from Madhya Pradesh's tourism industry, including travel agents, tour operators, and hoteliers. They shook hands with their counterparts in Hyderabad to create networks and partnerships that will enhance tourism prospects for the state. This collaborative effort will not only promote tourism in Madhya Pradesh but also facilitate tourism flows between the two states.
