Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam (GMVN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MakeMyTrip recently to promote its more than 90 guesthouses and tourist bungalows all over Garhwal on the latter’s platform.
The MoU ceremony took place at GMVN’s head office in Dehradun where Vinod Goswami, Managing Director, GMVN handed over the MoU to representatives from MakeMyTrip that included Manish Sharma, Himmat Singh Shekhawat, Akshit Mehra, Abhishek Kumar Gupta and Krishna Bhandari.
Speaking on the occasion, Goswami said, “In order to enhance revenues generated by GMVN, we have decided to work closely with MakeMytrip. I am confident that GMVN will play a critical role in taking tourism sector in Uttarakhand to new heights. I am hopeful that Managers of our accommodation units will fully cooperate with MakeMyTip to promote our properties.”
