The 5th Convention of Outbound Tour Operators Association of India (OTOAI) is taking place in Nairobi, Kenya from November 24 – 27. Sarova Hotels & Resorts is the hospitality partner of the convention while Air India and Kenya Airways are the airline partners. OneAbove – a leading DMC in Kenya is going to be the ground handling partner for the convention.

While sharing the details about the forthcoming convention at a recent media event in New Delhi, Riaz Munshi, President, OTOAI said, “At OTOAI we always explore destinations that have the potential to grow in the Indian market and add value to our members. We are confident that our members will play an important role in promoting Kenya in India. Our conventions have always helped the host destination grow its tourist arrivals.”

The discounted travel rates are being offered to OTOAI members interested in participating at the convention. In Mumbai where airline partner is Kenya Airways the price is Rs. 79,999 plus GST per person on twin sharing basis. The tariff for the second delegate from the same company is Rs. 82,999 plus GST. For delegates travelling from New Delhi where the airline partner is Air India, the tariff is Rs. 82,999 plus GST per person on twin sharing basis. The tariff for the other delegate from the same company is Rs. 85,999 plus GST. Members flying from Delhi will have 3-night convention plus 4-night hosted fam which include an additional night in Nairobi. On the other hand, members of the association travelling from Mumbai are being offered 3-night convention and 3-night fam tour. Delegates joining the convention also need to pay mandatory Rs. 5000 plus GST registration fees. About 200 delegates are expected to participate in the convention.
