To mark the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the Abhay Prabhavana Museum is offering a series of immersive experiences and curated tours from April 10 to 13, 2025. These special packages are designed to help visitors reflect on the life and teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir, the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism, and engage with the timeless principles of Jain philosophy in a meaningful and experiential way.
Located near Pune, the Abhay Prabhavana Museum is not just a historical archive but a living tribute to the values of Jainism. It features striking installations such as the 43-foot statue of Rishabhdev, the first Tirthankar, and the Plaza of Equanimity, both designed to spark spiritual contemplation and inner reflection. Through interactive exhibits, guided storytelling, and contemporary interpretations, the museum explores the essence of Jain values such as Ahimsa (non-violence), Aparigraha (non-possessiveness), Anekantavada (multiplicity of viewpoints), and Kshama (forgiveness).
During the four-day celebration, visitors can participate in guided museum tours, interact with learned Sadhvis, and attend a daily presentation on The Timeless Wisdom of Tirthankar Mahavir from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Tour options include walk-in visits and full-day trips from Pune and PCMC, with meals and curated spiritual sessions included.
Founder Abhay Firodia emphasized the museum’s mission on this occasion, stating, “The teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir are a universal guide to ethical living and inner peace. At Abhay Prabhavana, we have created a space where these principles can be practiced and understood as a living force shaping today’s world.”
In today’s fast-paced and divided world, the museum offers a peaceful environment for self-reflection, encouraging visitors to rediscover the power of simplicity, compassion, and mindful living. With its unique blend of art, philosophy, and experience, Abhay Prabhavana Museum stands out as a must-visit destination this Mahavir Jayanti for anyone seeking spiritual insight and ethical clarity.
