Abu Dhabi Tourism Roadshows Return to India, Targeting Deeper Trade Partnerships in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has launched the second leg of its 2025 India roadshow series, taking place from 8–12 September in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, following the overwhelming success of its April showcases in Hyderabad, Chandigarh, and Pune. The initiative, which earlier drew over 600 travel trade professionals, is designed to strengthen partnerships, highlight Abu Dhabi’s expanding tourism offerings, and equip Indian travel agents with new tools to promote the emirate. With Indian travellers accounting for 12% of Abu Dhabi’s hotel guests in 2024—a 43% year-on-year increase—India has emerged as one of the emirate’s most important source markets, with 400,000+ Indian visitors projected for 2025. The September roadshows feature destination showcases of cultural landmarks, adventure activities, luxury resorts, and family attractions, alongside networking opportunities with stakeholders like Yas Island, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, and leading hotel brands. To empower the trade, DCT Abu Dhabi has introduced initiatives such as the Abu Dhabi Pass with bundled discounts, customisable destination marketing kits, and an e-learning platform in English and Hindi to certify agents as Abu Dhabi specialists. By highlighting its diverse appeal—from art and culture to desert adventures, family-friendly theme parks, and five-star resorts—DCT Abu Dhabi aims to position the emirate as a year-round, multi-segment destination for Indian travellers. The roadshows are part of a long-term vision to embed Abu Dhabi more deeply in India’s outbound travel patterns, ensuring the emirate remains a top choice for honeymooners, families, adventure seekers, and luxury holidaymakers alike.
