As the year-end holiday season approaches, digital travel platform Agoda has unveiled the most affordable flight routes for Indian travelers looking to make the most of their festive getaways.
According to Agoda’s latest data, Guwahati–Agartala (INR 1,300) tops India’s list of cheapest domestic flights this season, while Ahmedabad–Bangkok (INR 6,500) leads as the most affordable international option for holidaymakers heading abroad.
Regionally, Guwahati–Agartala ranks as Asia’s third most affordable domestic route, behind Udon Thani–Bangkok (INR 536) and Jeju–Seoul/Bario–Miri (INR 805). For international travel within Asia, Malaysia and Indonesia offer the lowest fares, including Johor Bahru–Phuket and Pontianak–Kuching routes starting at INR 2,200. Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Vietnam also feature among cost-efficient options with fares between INR 2,500–4,100.
