
Air India and Virgin Australia have launched a new codeshare partnership, enhancing connectivity and travel convenience between India and Australia. Under this unilateral codeshare agreement, Air India will place its ‘AI’ code on Virgin Australia-operated flights, enabling seamless onward connections from Delhi to Melbourne and Sydney to 16 destinations across Australia and New Zealand.

Flight & Booking Details
- Air India operates 14 weekly non-stop flights from Delhi to Melbourne and Sydney using Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
- Codeshare bookings open on 11 February 2025, with the first flights commencing on 18 February 2025.
