According to the revised guidelines for international arrivals in to India, fully vaccinated travellers coming from a country with which India has reciprocal arrangements for mutual acceptance of WHO approved COVID-19 vaccines shall be allowed to leave the airport. They need not undergo home quarantine and testing from October 25.

However, these passengers will have to produce a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report. If the traveller is partially vaccinated or not vaccinated, he or she will have to undertake a Covid test at the point of arrival upon which they will be allowed to leave the airport. These travellers will home quarantine for seven days, do a re-test on eighth day. They will also have to self-monitor their health in following seven days even if their test report on day eight was negative.
