Arunachal Pradesh Unveils New Logo & Tourism Policy at Shangri-La, Delhi

Arunachal Pradesh took a significant step toward boosting its tourism potential with the unveiling of its new logo and tourism policy at an exclusive event held at Shangri-La Hotel, Delhi, on April 2, 2025. The event, which began at 3:00 PM, was graced by prominent dignitaries, including Shri Pasang Dorjee Sona, the Minister of Tourism for Arunachal Pradesh; Shri Ranphoa Ngowa, Hon’ble Secretary, Department of Tourism; and Shri ManjuNath R, Director of Tourism.

The event marked a milestone in the state’s efforts to position itself as a premier travel destination in India. The new logo, which reflects the region’s rich culture, natural beauty, and vibrant heritage, symbolizes Arunachal Pradesh’s diverse offerings, from its picturesque landscapes and wildlife to its cultural heritage and warm hospitality.

Shri Pasang Dorjee Sona emphasized the importance of tourism for the state’s economic growth and how the new logo and tourism policy would be pivotal in attracting both national and international visitors. “Arunachal Pradesh is a hidden gem waiting to be explored, and this new branding initiative is just the beginning. The unveiling of the logo and our enhanced tourism policy will make Arunachal Pradesh a key destination in the country,” he stated during his address.

The new tourism policy aims to improve infrastructure, promote sustainable tourism, and empower local communities through eco-tourism, adventure sports, and cultural tourism. Shri Ranphoa Ngowa, the Hon’ble Secretary, highlighted the policy’s focus on creating world-class tourism experiences while preserving the state’s rich biodiversity and culture.
