In a major step toward strengthening tourism ties between India and Europe, Indian tourism consultancy firm Auxilia Networks has been officially appointed as the India representative for ETOA (European Tourism Association), Europe’s leading tourism trade body dedicated to promoting European destinations and experiences. This partnership is set to enhance India’s connectivity with the European tourism sector, providing Indian travel businesses with direct access to ETOA’s global network and support systems.
ETOA represents over 1,100 members from international travel brands to independent small businesses operating across 63 origin markets. As Europe’s premier tourism association, ETOA serves as a powerful platform that advocates for a sustainable business environment and supports the development of both European tourism and international businesses engaging with the European market.
In its new role, Auxilia Networks will serve as ETOA’s ambassador in India, promoting ETOA’s comprehensive range of services, facilitating trade events and business activities, and driving membership growth from the Indian market. The partnership aims to support Indian tour operators, travel agents, and tourism professionals in overcoming operational challenges and exploring new opportunities for outbound travel to Europe.
Arran Wiltshire, Director of Commercial Operations at ETOA, commented, “We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Auxilia Networks to strengthen ETOA’s presence in India. This collaboration will support operators and agents sending clients to Europe, while elevating business opportunities for our members. With key offices in Brussels and London, ETOA is a vital network of tourism buyers and suppliers focused on long-haul inbound tourism to Europe, including the growing Indian market.”
As part of its strategic outreach, ETOA plans to launch an Origin Market Interest Group for India and will host the European Tourism Marketplace APAC in November 2025. In-market activities in India are also slated to return in 2026.
Paramjit Bawa, Founder and Principal of Auxilia Networks, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “Auxilia is committed to working with only the best global tourism partners. ETOA stands as the most recognised voice for European travel promotion. It offers unmatched networking and contracting platforms for tourism professionals, and we are honored to represent them in India. We look forward to helping grow the Europe-India tourism corridor and count on the continued support of our vibrant Indian travel trade community.”
This strategic alliance is expected to play a key role in enhancing trade, building lasting partnerships, and creating new avenues for Indian travelers and tourism businesses engaging with Europe.
