India continues to emerge as a key source market for both Oman and the UAE, driven by growing demand for experiential leisure travel, luxury holidays, incentive movements and destination weddings. Through this association, Khimji’s House of Travel aims to enhance its market presence and strengthen trade confidence in India.

Commenting on the development, Mohamed Zulfiquar, Head – Leisure & Commercial, Khimji’s House of Travel, said that the partnership reflects the company’s focus on India as a high-potential outbound market, adding that Benchmark’s understanding of the Indian travel ecosystem would support stronger engagement and business growth.

Savio Pereira, Director, Benchmark Travel Representations, said the appointment marks an opportunity to build structured trade relationships and highlight the depth of experiences offered across Oman and the UAE, spanning culture, nature, desert landscapes, premium hospitality and MICE infrastructure.

The India representation will focus on trade outreach initiatives, including roadshows, webinars, product trainings and joint marketing activities, aimed at translating destination awareness into sustained business for the Indian travel trade.
