Bintan Resorts and Travstarz Global Group Boost Destination Visibility Across India’s Emerging Travel Markets

In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in India, Bintan Resorts, in collaboration with Travstarz Global Group, successfully concluded a series of B2B trade workshops from June 11 to 13, 2025. Held in Jaipur, Lucknow, and Indore, the initiative aimed to deepen engagement with key outbound travel agents and promote Bintan Island as a top-tier leisure and MICE destination for Indian travellers.

Organised with the support of VFS Global – Tourism Services, represented by Ms. Shakambri Soni, these curated sessions targeted India’s growing tier-2 travel markets where personalized service and relationship-based travel planning play a vital role. Over 35 handpicked high-performing travel agents participated in each city, gaining insights into Bintan’s unique offerings such as pristine beaches, luxury resorts, water sports, golf courses, and its strategic proximity to Singapore—just a 60-minute ferry ride away.

Facilitated by Travstarz Global Group, a leading B2B travel service provider, the workshops presented Bintan as a versatile Southeast Asian destination suited for families, honeymooners, leisure travellers, and corporate groups. The sessions were designed to foster long-term trade relationships by offering in-depth destination knowledge and showcasing the island’s compatibility with broader Southeast Asia travel itineraries.
