Bintan Resorts Reports Surge in Indian Arrivals, Targets Stronger MICE & FIT Growth in 2026

Bintan Resorts is sharpening its focus on the Indian market after welcoming over 13,000 Indian visitors in 2025, signalling steady growth from one of its key emerging source markets.

Positioned as a seamless twin-destination extension to Singapore Tourism Board’s Singapore offering, Bintan continues to leverage its visa-on-arrival access for Indian travellers and its one-hour ferry connectivity from Singapore to strengthen accessibility.

The Indonesian island destination is targeting expansion in both the FIT and MICE segments in 2026, supported by its portfolio of beachfront resorts, championship golf courses and integrated event venues.

Bintan’s growing calendar of marquee sporting events — including the *Bintan Triathlon, *Tour de Bintan, and the Bintan Marathon — is also contributing to its rising visibility among Indian travellers.

The destination plans to deepen trade partnerships and enhance B2C engagement in India as part of its next phase of growth strategy.
