British Airways Resumes Flights to Israel Ahead of Passover and Easter Travel Rush

British Airways has resumed its flights to Israel, becoming the latest major airline to reinstate services that were suspended due to the Israel-Hamas war. The British flag carrier’s red-eye flight from London Heathrow arrived at Ben-Gurion International Airport early Sunday, followed by a return morning flight back to London.

The resumption comes just ahead of the busy Passover and Easter travel season, during which flights to Israel typically see a surge in demand. While Israeli carrier El Al maintained continuous service to both Heathrow and Luton throughout the conflict, ticket prices soared amid accusations of price gouging. Other airlines such as Israir and Wizz Air have also continued to operate routes between Tel Aviv and the UK.

British Airways’ return increases travel options for passengers, though its competitor Virgin Atlantic has not yet resumed Israel flights and is expected to restart service only in October.
