Chhattisgarh CM Welcomes Investors at ‘Tourism Investors Connect’ in New Delhi; Calls State “Land of Opportunities”

Chhattisgarh made a strong pitch to tourism and hospitality investors at the ‘Tourism Investors Connect’ held today at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi. The event brought together senior leaders including Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Chief Secretary Shri Vikas Sheel, Tourism Board Chairperson Ms. Neelu Sharma, Secretary Tourism, Secretary Commerce & Industry, the MD, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, and several senior officials.

The meet saw participation from hotel groups, resort developers, tourism operators and investors from across the country.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai delivered a concise but powerful message, extending an open invitation to the investment community:

“I welcome all investors to Chhattisgarh. We are opening doors for growing together. I do not wish to speak much, because the Secretary Tourism and the Secretary Commerce & Industry have already explained everything in detail. I am here to welcome you to the land of opportunities — Chhattisgarh.”

His remarks set the tone for the state’s commitment to expand tourism through strong partnerships with the private sector.

The presence of top leadership—led by the Chief Minister himself—reinforced the state’s message:
Chhattisgarh is investment-ready and eager to partner with serious tourism developers.

With natural assets, improving connectivity and a strong incentives framework, the state aims to become one of India’s most promising new tourism markets.
