The expansion continues in the second half of 2024, with the opening of new resorts in China, France, and Greece. These properties will cater to the growing demand for immersive travel experiences, combining Club Med’s luxurious touch with the distinctive charm of each location.
Henri Giscard d’Estaing, President of Club Med, expressed his excitement about the company’s growth, stating, “After achieving record figures in 2023, Club Med has set a new performance record for the first half of 2024. Despite global challenges, we have successfully completed our upscale transformation, with 100% of our resorts now being premium or very premium. This marks a decisive turning point for our brand.”
Giscard d’Estaing also highlighted the company’s digital transformation and its focus on improving customer experience through artificial intelligence. “In the first half of 2024, we made significant progress in our Happy Digital initiative and AI strategy, and we aim to continue elevating our existing resorts while opening new ones in 2024 and beyond,” he said. He further emphasized Club Med’s ongoing commitment to sustainable tourism, underscoring the brand’s dedication to giving back to local communities through its “Happy to Care” initiative.
As part of its 75th-anniversary celebrations, Club Med is set to make history with the opening of its first-ever resort in the Arabian Peninsula.
