Della Group to Develop 1,400-Acre Integrated Tourism Township in Andhra Pradesh

Della Group has announced plans for a large-scale integrated tourism and lifestyle township in Andhra Pradesh, marking one of the most ambitious destination-led developments proposed in the state in recent years. The project, titled Della Vasudev Kutumbakam International Township, is planned across approximately 1,400 acres and is positioned as a multi-use tourism-focused development.

With an initial estimated investment of around ₹6,000 crore, the township is envisioned as a comprehensive destination combining tourism, culture, spirituality, hospitality and wellness infrastructure. One of the central components of the project is a Living Exhibition on Hinduism, planned as an immersive, experiential space highlighting India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

In addition to the cultural and spiritual elements, the proposed development includes hospitality assets, wellness and medical tourism facilities, experiential and adventure zones, leadership and learning spaces, as well as premium residential and mixed-use real estate. The township is being positioned as a long-term destination rather than a standalone tourism project.

The land parcel for the project is owned by a private developer, who has appointed Della Group as the development partner responsible for planning and execution. An MoU has been signed with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, under which the project is expected to receive applicable incentives and support in line with the state’s tourism policy framework.

The development follows the Della Integrated Townships model, which focuses on concept-driven, multi-vertical destination planning. The approach aims to integrate tourism infrastructure with economic activity, employment generation and regional development, while positioning Andhra Pradesh as a destination for experiential and spiritual tourism.

Once implemented, the Della Vasudev Kutumbakam International Township is expected to contribute to tourism inflows, destination branding and long-term infrastructure growth in the region. The project reflects a growing trend of large-format, experience-led tourism developments emerging across India, particularly in states actively promoting investment under tourism-friendly policies.
