As part of this culinary journey, the hotel will feature a unique ‘Dish of the Day’ created by seven distinguished chefs, with a new dish each day, showcasing their diverse culinary talents. As part of this promotion, running until September 30, seven culinary artists from DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square are coming together to showcase dishes that are either close to their hearts or their best-kept secrets, ensuring guests enjoy a rich and diverse offering of flavours.
From Italian and Japanese delicacies to traditional Indian desserts and regional cuisines, each dish reflects our chefs’ passion and expertise, offering a truly memorable dining experience.
Chef Prajjwal Mitra, Executive Sous Chef of DoubleTree by Hilton Gurugram Baani Square, specializes in Italian cuisine. He will present the delicacy, ‘Open Ravioli with Porcini Cream Sauce’. This casual yet authentic Italian dish is a culinary masterpiece and quite popular among locals in Italy.
Pastry Chef Aashish Bhalla will showcase the innovative ‘Rasmalai Tres Leche’, a fusion dessert that blends Indian and Latin American flavours. Topped with a saffron white chocolate whipped ganache and adorned with 24-karat gold leaf, this dessert is a feast for the eyes and the palate.
Chefs of Hilton will also highlight regional and traditional dishes that reflect India’s rich culinary heritage. Chef Biswanath Pradhan will bring the flavours of Odisha with his authentic ‘Dalma’, a lentil and vegetable dish that is a staple in Odia cuisine.
Chef Jaspal Singh Khatti will serve ‘Makai ka Halwa’ from the hills of Almora. This sweet corn dessert inspired by his father’s legacy is prepared with a rich mix of ghee, khoya, and nuts.
Chef Mahendra Singh specializes in ‘tandoor’ and will present Mushroom Galouti Kebabs. Reflecting Lucknow’s rich culinary heritage, these Kebabs are infused with just the right hint of spice and a delicate smoky clove aroma for a perfect taste.
Other standout dishes include Chef Lal Singh’s ‘Pathar Ke Kebab’, an authentic delicacy from Lucknow. Served on a hot stone sizzler plate and accompanied by tangy pineapple chutney, these kebabs delight the senses. On the other hand, Chef Harsh Singh’s ‘Katsu Donburi’, will offer guests a taste of Japan with crispy chicken katsu served over rice and curry.
