In a major step toward enhancing guest experience and airport efficiency, Dubai Airports has unveiled DXB Greet & Go, a new smart pickup solution at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3. This innovative service replaces traditional guest paging with a modern, QR code-based system designed for travelers arriving with pre-booked hotel, limousine, or tour operator services.
Located in the Arrivals area of Terminal 3, DXB Greet & Go allows passengers to scan a unique QR code at a designated kiosk to instantly access their assigned driver and vehicle details, including parking location and registration number. Guests are then guided by multilingual staff directly to their vehicle, ensuring a smooth, hassle-free, and secure pickup experience.
The initiative is part of Dubai Airports’ commitment to digital transformation and operational excellence. “DXB Greet & Go is part of our continued efforts to make every step of the journey at DXB more efficient and enjoyable,” said Essa Al Shamsi, Senior Vice President of Terminal Operations at Dubai Airports. “By modernising the way guests are received in the Arrivals area, we are helping our partners deliver a smarter and more personalised welcome, while easing footfall and improving operational flow within the terminal.”
Available exclusively to licensed hotels, limousine service providers, and tour operators in Dubai, the system requires businesses to register their vehicles and drivers on the DXB Greet & Go portal. Once registered, companies can send a personalised QR code to their guests before arrival. Upon scanning the code at the airport, guests are verified and assisted on the ground for a seamless connection with their designated transport.
The service aims to reduce congestion in the arrivals area, streamline guest movement, and offer a professional and tech-forward alternative to traditional airport pickups. As Dubai continues to lead in global travel innovation, DXB Greet & Go positions the airport as a pioneer in smart arrival services.
