Dusit International has appointed Marc Handl as Managing Director of Dusit Thani Bangkok, its reimagined flagship luxury hotel overlooking Lumpini Park.
In his expanded role, Handl will also oversee Dusit Residences and Dusit Parkside, two upcoming luxury residential developments within the landmark Dusit Central Park mixed-use project, which integrates hospitality, retail, offices, and one of Thailand’s largest rooftop parks.
A third-generation hotelier with over three decades of global experience, Handl has held senior leadership positions with leading luxury brands including Park Hyatt, The Ritz-Carlton, Aman, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Most recently, he managed a portfolio of 15 properties across 10 international brands at Abu Dhabi National Hotels.
His appointment comes at a strategic time following the September 2024 reopening of Dusit Thani Bangkok after a comprehensive redevelopment. The property has already earned global recognition, including a Michelin Key and a Michelin Star for its signature restaurant, Cannubi by Umberto Bombana.
