Eagle Travel has just taken a big step forward by moving to Advantage Managed Services (AMS) under The Advantage Travel Partnership. This isn’t just a paperwork shuffle—it’s a strategic shift to help the business run smoother, manage finances better, and set the stage for future growth.
Based in Bedford, Eagle Travel has built a strong reputation for crafting dream getaways—think luxury holidays, epic cruises, scenic rail journeys, UK tours, and sun-soaked beach escapes. Now, with AMS, they’ll get access to a top-tier back-office system (V-Suite) and a dedicated finance team to handle supplier payments, taking a load off their plate so they can focus on what they do best: creating unforgettable trips.
The change also signals a new chapter for the agency’s co-owners, Sue Alexander and Carole Forth, who are stepping back as they head into semi-retirement. Sue, who’s been in the travel game since 1979 and joined Eagle Travel back in 1994, teamed up with Carole to take over the business in 2013. Their passion and personal touch have been the heart of the agency, and that legacy isn’t going anywhere.
Stepping up to lead the next phase is Sales Director Charlotte McGennity, a nine-year veteran of Eagle Travel with over 20 years of industry know-how. With her at the helm and the backing of AMS, the agency is ready to explore fresh opportunities and keep growing.
Sue Alexander shared, “Moving to AMS is about working smarter, not harder. It gives us the tools to keep delivering amazing service while setting the business up for the future. We’re excited to see where this takes Eagle Travel.”
Kelly Cookes from The Advantage Travel Partnership added, “We’re thrilled to have Eagle Travel on board with AMS. Charlotte’s leadership, combined with a stronger back-office setup, means this is just the beginning of great things for them.”
